Hey there, I'm Jonathan!

Welcome to my corner of the internet.

I'm a product designer based in the SF Bay Area, crafting delightful experiences from data-informed ideas.

I've previously designed at Meta, Call BlackLine, and Keep.id. I recently graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science (Specialization in Human-Computer Interaction).
When I'm not focused on wireframes, I'm usually baking, laser-cutting, or trying out the newest coffee shop in the area.
I am currently looking for my next opportunity!
Feel free to reach out to me below :)
Design Philosophy
DATA-INFORMED
I strive to create designs that are driven by user-data. Research, secondary or primary, serve as the backbone behind my decisions.
FIND THE WHY
In any project I’m in, I use my curiosity as a driving force to “find the why”. From business needs to user pain-points, I always find it important for everyone working on the product to know our why.
DIVERSE POVs
I value working with product teams filled with diverse POVs/perspectives. I believe that everyone has a perspective that should be brought to the table no matter the stage of the design process.

Branding Tidbit

A lil tidbit on the meaning behind my logo and brand colors!

BLUE
&
ORANGE
Growing up, I was obsessed with complimentary colors; especially blue and orange. I loved how drastically different colors could come together and compliment each other.
ALL IN THE NAME
The "n" in my first name and the "u" in my last name act as magnets in my logo. They connect two vital components in my design process: the needs of the user and a business's mission.
BRINGING IT TOGETHER
Using my favorite colors and using the "n" and "u" in my name, I created my personal brand to highlight the connection I strive to bring between user needs and a business's mission.
